Enjoying the Countryside on Your Horse

We don't all own race horses or champion show jumpers!

Most of us just love taking to the saddle and meandering through the bridleways taking in the views, the scents and sounds of the countryside.

As someone whose competitive days are, let's say, fondly remembered, I still love horses and all (almost all!) that goes with them. The problem is finding plenty of others to enjoy it with.

Fun Rides & Sponsored Rides

There are, in fact, lots of people who enjoy gathering to enjoy riding for the pure joy of it. sometimes to raise a bit of money for charity, sometimes not. These are fun rides or sponsored rides.

One of the nice things about fun-rides & sponsored rides is that you often get to ride in parks or estates that are not normally open to you.
